Finding Composure During Quiet Times

Sometimes life gets so crazy that when we have a second to breathe we don't know what to do with our time. We tend to think something may be wrong because we aren't having to go to a meeting, class, or event. In my career I'm learning to take advantage of the down time to really focus on taking care of myself because anytime now it could get hectic. Meditation, working out, charity, family, health and faith are all things I strive to focus on. Even taking time to turn your brain to mush watching your favorite movies or tv series. Right now I'm watching Ghostbusters on Freeform, demolishing some edamame, while writing this blog. When we focus on the things that are important to us and stay positive knowing there is a plan for us, we can find composure. We can be calm and take life a day at a time, living to make ourselves and others happy. Life is too short to be worried and caught up in "he/she is doing this and I'm not" mentality. We all have our own paths and we will all have a different story to tell one day. Try this week with me to find joy and be calm in the quiet times that surround our hectic work and school schedules. Don't be afraid of less hectic days, you never know what is coming around the corner.

lots of love

xx
